Cheryl Tan | Associate Director
Cheryl joined Azure Capital in 2008.
Since joining the firm, Cheryl has worked across a wide variety of engagements, including project financing, general corporate advisory and public company M&A, particularly within the telecommunications, utilities and infrastructure sectors.
Prior to joining the firm, Cheryl spent over a year at the Halifax Bank of Scotland (Australia) within the credit risk modelling division. She worked on several aspects of credit risk modelling required for the Bank to achieve advanced Basel II accreditation, including model recalibration, deployment and subsequent monitoring.
Cheryl holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Quantitative and Investment Finance) and a Bachelor of Science (Pathology, First Class Honours) from the University of Western Australia. During her undergraduate degree, Cheryl received prizes in both mathematics and pathology, and completed internships with Advanced Ocular Systems (WA) and Centre National de Gè-notypage, a leading DNA sequencing institute in France. Cheryl holds a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance from Kaplan Professional.
