Geoff Rasmussen Scholarship | 2020 Beneficiary
The Geoff Rasmussen Scholarship Fund is pleased to announce Mitchell Snow as its 2020 beneficiary.
Mitchell was officially recognised and introduced at a small event recently to acknowledge his success and thank supporters of the Geoff Rasmussen Scholarship Fund.
Mitchell was raised in the South West. His impressive ATAR results earned him a UWA Direct Pathway Engineering Scholarship, and after spending a year working full-time he commenced his undergraduate studies at UWA in 2019. The Geoff Rasmussen Scholarship will help reduce the financial burden of living away from home, allowing Mitchell to focus on pursuing his studies.
The selection committee was impressed by Mitchell’s strong ties to family and the community, love of education and knowledge, his resilience and determination to succeed.
Azure Capital is a foundation supporter of the Geoff Rasmussen Scholarship Fund established by the Rasmussen family (Bronwyn, Sami, Sophie and Josh) in memory of Geoff, a co-founder of Azure Capital.
Geoff was dedicated to improving the lives of others and had great respect for the value of education in facilitating personal and professional growth. The Geoff Rasmussen Scholarship Fund established in his name embodies those same values that Geoff championed and supports an outstanding individual in their undergraduate studies at UWA including professional mentoring. Preference is given to candidates who have been through or are experiencing significant challenges in their lives.
Azure Capital is very proud to be supporting the Rasmussen family’s continued efforts to change lives through the Geoff Rasmussen Scholarship Fund.
The Geoff Rasmussen Scholarship Fund is now accepting donations and would greatly appreciate your support. To make a donation please refer to https://www.givenow.com.au/grsfund (noting that donations are tax deductible).
